ZOIS was privileged to attend DIGITAL X 2022 in Cologne, September 13th and 14th. Over 70,000 delegates and IT professionals participated in two full days of seminars, workshops and keynote speeches from technology luminaries including Steve Wozniak (founder of Apple alongside Steve Jobs) and Jessica Alba (Hollywood actress and founder of billion dollar e-commerce company The Honest Company). The main focus of the conference was digitalisation and the benefits that companies can expect from new technologies such as AI, IoT, the Metaverse and advancements in Cybersecurity. Sustainability was also high on the agenda.

For the first time, consumers in Germany were able to access a wide range of content at Digital X. Deutsche Telekom’s customer service and experts were on site to offer advice directly to customers.

Anyone moving through downtown Cologne during Digital X will get the feeling that they are already getting a glimpse of the digital future”, says Hagen Rickmann, Director Business Telekom Deutschland and patron of Digital X.

ZOIS was once again in a prime position to communicate the importance of a global IT standard, providing a comprehensive guideline for companies to improve IT processes and reduce the threat of major outages. With all the new technology on display at DIGITAL X, never has it been more important to ensure that IT processes achieve the very highest quality standard.

We met with CEO of T-Systems and Board Member of Deutsche Telekom, Adel Al-Saleh who continues to endorse the association and include Zero Outage as a key value within his own organisation.
