ZOIS were in attendance at Web Summit in Lisbon, 4-7th November, one of Europe’s largest technology conferences. With over 70 000 people including 11 000 CEOs attending it was another opportunity for the association to communicate the benefits of a globally recognised IT standard.
Web Summit lived up to its reputation as one of the premier events in the European technology calendar, where companies such as UBER, AWS and SIEMENS provided unique insights into how technology can improve lives as well as offering loyalty to businesses. From flying cars to the New York’s Times’s unique approach to storytelling – it was clear that only innovation would suffice for 2020 and beyond.
With data protection at the forefront of everyone’s minds, it has never been more important for ZOIS to communicate its values; guaranteeing a secure IT environment, embracing digitalisation and providing a platform to discuss ‘best practice’ for all IT companies.
ZOIS offers members the chance directly influence the standard and therefore improve their own IT offerings. With access to experts from within the association (IBM, CISCO, NETAPP amongst others), companies can benefit from cross-industry collaboration.
ZOIS continues to have open discussions with companies, to invite them to join the association where their expertise can have an impact on the IT landscape as a whole.
