ZOIS Featured at The Economist Business Innovation Summit 2025
On 26 March 2025, the Zero Outage Industry Standard was prominently featured at The Economist Business Innovation Summit in London, with Mark Gradwell, VP of Global Services at SUSE and a member of the ZOIS Board of Directors, representing the association during a fireside chat titled: “Resilience in the cloud era: are you ready for the next outage?”
In a powerful conversation, Mark shared insights into what Zero Outage truly means in today’s always-on digital economy. He emphasised how the ZOIS framework empowers organisations to build resilience across people, platforms, processes and security – minimising risk, protecting trust and enabling continuous service delivery in the face of growing complexity.
The summit, organised by Economist Impact, gathered global leaders and innovators to explore how business resilience and transformation can go hand in hand. The session contributed meaningful perspectives on how IT standards can support organisations in preparing for the unexpected -especially in cloud-based, distributed environments.
We thank The Economist for the opportunity to contribute to this important dialogue and extend our appreciation to Mark Gradwell for representing ZOIS with clarity, experience and impact.
